I started Refuah Performance after my dad looked at me at 55 and said, “I want to dunk again.” Programing for him made helped me learn something: smart, joint-friendly training can bring almost anyone’s natural movement back.
“Refuah” is Hebrew for healing and restoration. That’s the heart of this. These programs are not built around aesthetics first (though that can follow). The goal is to help you move well, feel strong, and get back to what you love, whether that’s a pain-free walk or dunking a basketball.

I’m a 19-year-old college student who might be less “book-qualified” than most coaches, but my experience has shaped how I program. I spent years in and out of physical therapy and seeing doctors for issues that kept showing up in sports, and I rarely got real answers.
So I started testing, learning, and rebuilding from the ground up. That process took me from being in a wheelchair to dunking, and it’s the same approach I use with clients: movement first, then strength, then performance.
